Are Getting Married

01 — HOW IT BEGAN

Athens.

2021.

They met in Athens, Georgia, introduced by a best friend, the way the best things happen. From the first conversation, something shifted. Athens to Atlanta. Then a U-Haul to Jacksonville, where they adopted a cat named Marco and figured out what building a life together actually looks like. Nine months later, back to Atlanta. Still together. Still laughing.

Now there are two dogs, Roscoe and Roman, a home, and a quiet certainty that doesn't need much explaining. They just know. Not a day passes without one of them making the other laugh without trying. That's the whole thing, really.

He proposed on August 23, 2025. A winery in the mountains outside Salt Lake City. A willow tree. A pond. Swans, somehow. A week exploring national parks followed, ending in Las Vegas. Italy was always where this was heading, long before there was a ring, long before there was a date. And now, here we are.

02 — THE PLACE

Borgo

Stomennano

An ancient borgo in the Chianti Classico hills of Monteriggioni. Stone walls first recorded in 1059. Vineyards stretching in every direction. The kind of place that makes you feel like you've stepped into a different century, because you have.

Italy was never just a destination. It was always the plan, a quiet promise made long before the ring existed. This is where it happens.

03 — THE EVENTS

Two evenings.

One ceremony.

Everything you need to know. We want you there for all of it, not just the day, but the whole thing.

Ease into the celebration with a relaxed poolside gathering in the late morning and early afternoon.

Soak up the sun, connect with friends and family, and enjoy a slower pace before we reconvene in the evening for the rehearsal dinner.

TUESDAY · SEPTEMBER 22, 2027

Today is the wedding day.
From quiet moments getting ready to the celebration ahead, the day unfolds surrounded by the people you love most.

WEDNESDAY · SEPTEMBER 23, 2027

04 - DRESS

More details coming soon, but for now…lean dark, lean rich.

Deep burgundy, forest green, black, champagne, earthy cream. The cobblestones and soft September grass are part of the setting. Plan accordingly.

05 — WHERE TO SLEEP

Stay Close.

Stay Longer.

06 — GETTING HERE

Find your way to us.

By Air

Florence (FLR) — The closest. One hour to the estate.

Rome Fiumicino (FCO) — High-speed train to Siena or Florence, then onward into the hills.

Pisa (PSA) — A quieter option. About 1.5 hours by road.

By Car

Rent a car. Drive through Tuscany at your own pace. Siena is 10 km from the estate, Florence 60 km. Neither city should be missed. Give yourself time before or after — this part of the world slows you down in the best way.

By Train

Trenitalia connects Florence and Rome to Siena in under 90 minutes. From Siena, a short taxi ride — 15 to 20 minutes — and you're there. There is something right about arriving by train through the Tuscan hills.
